About Hypercell Games
Hypercell Games is a mobile game development company based in Riga, Latvia. In addition to their focus on self-publishing in-house mobile games, they also assist other game publishers with app development. Recently, Hypercell Games has begun to shift focus toward evergreen puzzle games to bridge the gap between hyper casual and casual games with the goal of increasing user lifespans. This transition made it possible to scale Hypercell Games' very first self-published title Garden Balls to 10M players world-wide.
The Challenge
To support their objective of extending user lifespans for hyper casual and casual games, Hypercell Games was looking for reliable, rich lifecycle tracking with minimal lag. As a data-driven company, Hypercell Games didn’t feel they were receiving the attribution data flow they needed to drive success.
They desired a quick turnaround, a better tool/tech stack, user acquisition (UA) optimization, improved data visualizations, and easy stakeholder reporting. Hypercell Games additionally hoped to transition to a more predictive approach with data. They wanted an easy way to predict user lifetime value (LTV) over time. On top of technical needs, Hypercell Games were also seeking an affordable solution.
The Solution
Adjust provided the practical, flexible solution that Hypercell Games required. Adjust’s Measure Suite facilitated the much-needed minimal time delay in receiving data, as well as enriched granularity of raw data events. Hypercell Games used Datascape for trend visualization and monitoring the health of the various channels in use. A simple exporting function allowed the marketing team to conveniently share cohort retention trends and predict necessary improvements with the product team.

Hypercell Games also worked with Adjust to use a beta version of a new feature, pLTV, which predicts the future LTV of users. With just two days of performance data, the tool is able to effectively forecast user behavior 30 and 60 days in the future. High prediction accuracy has been the resulting basis of Hypercell Games’ campaign monetization, which has helped the team spend budget more efficiently.

The Results
