Adjust returns to Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona: A celebration of connectivity

In the Adjust calendar, February is fast becoming a favorite month. Following our success at last year’s event, our return to Mobile World Congress (MWC) last month was a celebration of connectivity. Not only is it the world’s largest and most influential mobile connectivity event, it’s an opportunity for personal connection as we engage face-to-face with our clients, partners, and everyone interested in hearing about our innovations in the mobile marketing space.
MWC is attended by the biggest mobile brands from around the world, flocking for the event’s big industry announcements, thought-leading speakers, and tech talks. From February 26 through 29, over 101,000 attendees made their way to Barcelona, with an incredible 205 countries and territories represented across the four-day event. It was the biggest year yet for MWC, and the biggest year yet for Adjust’s Mobile Marketing Zone and annual happy hour.
This year’s themes
A forum to shape, debate, and celebrate the future of connectivity, MWC 2024 centered on five main mobile themes:
- The rapid evolution of 5G and the 6G horizon
- The power of collaboration across the mobile ecosystem
- Sustainability, diversity, and talent in tech
- AI hype vs. reality
- A unified approach to a shared future

Adjust’s Mobile Marketing Zone
Together with Airship and mParticle, Adjust launched the Mobile Marketing Zone, the hub for all things mobile marketing. Over coffees made by our baristas, our clients had the space and time to host all of their mobile marketing conversations, getting to the heart of the challenges and opportunities faced within the industry today.
The Zone was abuzz with activity and lively conversation, with clients and passers-by alike stopping by to discuss Adjust’s recent innovations and plans for 2024. We were delighted to have a chance to showcase our recent Mobile app trends 2024 report, and share how our soon-to-be-released incrementality solution will really change the game.
Adjust and AppLovin’s annual Momentum happy hour
As the Spanish sun set on day two of MWC, we welcomed networkers to the terrace of Barcelona’s exclusive Hotel Miramar. Local food, drinks, music, and sensational sea views were enjoyed as we digested the learnings of the day and shared our experiences of life in the mobile marketing industry.
Enjoying some downtime with peers, and a few laughs in our photo booth, was a great way to keep the collaborative spirit of connection going.
